Contest Giveaway & Rules

1. Eligibility

  • Participants must be legal residents of Canada or the United States.
  • Entrants must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Void where prohibited by law.

2. How to Enter

  • Each entry must include a purchase receipt for Smith Residence: Fresh Starts dated August 18 or August 19.
  • Every valid receipt counts as one entry. Multiple receipts = multiple entries.
  • Receipts must be submitted through the official entry form on this website.
  • The entry form requires:
    • A valid email address
    • An uploaded receipt showing the qualifying purchase date

3. Entry Deadline

  • All entries must be submitted by 11:59 PM (Eastern Standard Time) on August 20.
  • Entries received after this deadline will not be considered.

4. Prize Details

The winner will receive:

  1. Co‑Creation of a Character
    • The winner will collaborate with the author to help inspire or shape a character appearing in Book 3 of the series.
    • The author retains full creative control and reserves the right to use, adapt, or modify the character in any way that fits the story, worldbuilding, or narrative needs.
    • The winner will be required to sign a short, friendly agreement confirming creative ownership, confidentiality, and collaboration terms before the prize can be fulfilled.
  2. Exclusive Signed Poster
    • A limited‑edition poster revealing the Book 3 title and cover, signed by the author.
    • This poster will not be made publicly available outside this giveaway.

5. Winner Selection

  • A random draw will be conducted on August 21.
  • The winner will be contacted via the email provided in their entry form.
  • If the winner does not respond within 72 hours, a new winner may be selected.

6. Additional Terms

  • By entering, participants agree that their submitted information may be used for the purpose of administering the giveaway.
  • The prize has no cash value and cannot be substituted or transferred.
  • The author reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the giveaway if necessary.
